Formulation of de-icing agent SNO-N-ICE

The de-icing agent SNO-N-ICE is produced in Switzerland and is specially prepared road salt with 6 inhibitors (inhibitors/additives). SNO-N-ICE does not contain urea.

The pink colouring (food colouring) is used to check where gritting has already taken place. The colouring disappears by itself some time after spreading.

  • Extremely long-lasting effect thanks to different granule sizes
  • Can be applied the evening before
  • Is not hygroscopic - does not clump together
  • Spread sparingly by hand: approx. 10-15 grams/m2
  • Ideal for machine spreading: approx. 5-10 grams/m2
  • Manufactured in Switzerland
